About Us

Viral News Media is an independent information website for job seekers and students across Africa. We publish job openings, scholarship guides and practical career advice for readers in Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, South Africa, Côte d'Ivoire, Benin, Cameroon, Angola, Burkina Faso, Mozambique, Senegal and beyond.

What we do

We collect openings and opportunities that are already public, explain the requirements in plain English, and link you to the official application page. Where a process is confusing — a scholarship portal, a visa route, an application form — we write a step-by-step guide for it.

What we are not

We are not a recruitment agency and we are not connected to any employer, university or government body. We do not receive, process or forward applications, and we cannot influence any selection decision.

We never charge for anything on this site, and no genuine employer or institution will ask you to pay to apply. If a listing anywhere asks you for money, it is a scam. Read our [scam alerts](/category/scam-alerts) before you apply anywhere.

How we make money

This site is free to read. It is funded by advertising displayed on the pages. Advertisers have no say in what we publish and no access to your personal information. See our [Privacy Policy](/page/privacy-policy) for the detail.

Corrections

If a listing on this site is out of date, inaccurate, or you believe it is fraudulent, please tell us through the [contact page](/page/contact). We check every report and remove anything we cannot verify.
